Obituaries

These pieces are for our loved ones who have passed, but remain with us in our hearts.

A Constant Legacy

This piece was my first piece for Ink Knell, the one that started it all. It is about the life of a navy instrumentalist who worked on typewriters. His daughter was gracious enough to let me have his personal machine.

A Feisty Sort (Of Godmother)

This poem is about my late Godmother. She had a way that was all here own as any in the family would admit to. The memories that I have, I preserved here. It is a symbol of time spent with her, like her clock.

Laughter and Lilacs

Inspired by person very close to my fiancé, this was the first poem where I tested my interview questionnaire. It proved to capture the essence of this subject.
